Webinar: Loss and Damage Fund 101

2024 will be a critical year for the Board of the Loss and Damage Fund (LDF) to shape the design of the Fund further, and therefore its ability to meet the needs and priorities of climate-vulnerable communities, and respect their human rights. Many decisions will be made by the end of the year, in a fast-paced environment that has been demonstrated to be not conducive to meaningful participation, which is critical to realizing just and effective solutions. 

Ahead of the second Board meeting of the Loss and Damage Fund happening in Songdo, Korea, 9-12 July, we are organizing a webinar to support civil society organizations and Indigenous Peoples in their effort to meaningfully participate in discussions and decisions related to the Loss and Damage Fund.

La première année du Conseil d’administration du Fonds pour pertes et dommages est cruciale pour la poursuite de sa conception, et assurer sa capacité à répondre aux besoins et aux priorités des communautés affectées et à respecter leurs droits.
